Mistral Vibe is the assistant from French AI company Mistral AI, known as Le Chat until it was renamed in May 2026. The chat.mistral.ai address still works as the entry point. Vibe offers Work mode for research, drafts, summaries and scheduled multi-step tasks across connected tools, Code mode for coding agents in the terminal, VS Code or cloud sessions, and Chat mode with the legacy Le Chat features. Existing plans, history and settings carried over.
